Located in Kampung Portugis, Melaka with a very convenient and nice view of a sea. Serving a fresh and delicious seafood as a main. It should begin with enjoying the sea breeze upon stepping foot in Portuguese Settlement, or perhaps you should drop-by during their merry-making special festivals.
Portuguese Settlement is not far away from Evergreen Homestay yet you need 5 minutes walk to reach there. There are many stalls selling almost similar food. Portuguese Settlement popular offering grilled seafood like fish, clam, lala, squid and more.
Feel free to enjoy authentic Portuguese Food by the seaside with reasonable prices. The portion was quite generous, tastes super scrumptious as the sauce is well blended with numerous spices yet astonishingly.
Ming Huat Restaurant
Ming Huat Restaurant is undoubtedly the most delicious low-cost coffee shop which we have encounter in Malacca. Average stall available in the restaurant only sells economic mouth-watering food such as mee rebus, roti canai, satay, nasi campur, nasi lemak and so much more to discover.
The restaurant also runs double shift which consists of breakfast and dinner sessions with different food themes on going; mee rebus and roti canai serve as breakfast while nasi lemak generally dominates the dinner session. Thus, don’t get so surprised when you see Chinese and Malay people cramping inside a restaurant enjoying their meal!

The food court was run by a group of energetic and passionate young people, very nice environment. Clean , comfortable, spacious, covered and well ventilated food court. There are variety of food stalls. You can have your breakfast and lunch here.

Lim Kee Bah Kut Teh
With more than 40 years history, Lim Kee Bah Kut Teh is always one of the favourite destinations among food hunters. Though it only offers Bak Kut Teh and pig trotters, the unique taste has successfully retained customers and keep them coming back again and again.
The Bak Kut Teh boasts many different ingredients such as pork ribs, pork balls, mushrooms, dry bean curd and some vegetables. The broth looks dark and it gives off a strong herbal smell.
Their vinegar-braised pig trotter is another highlight here. You should give it a try too.
Lim Kee Bah Kut Teh is 2 minutes drive from Rasa Sayang Food Paradise.
Soon Wong Vegetarian Restaurant
Soon Wong Vegetarian Restaurant is a Chinese vegetarian mixed rice with a lot of varieties of dishes restaurant. They serve both white rice and red rice which is delicious.
They also serve vegetarian curry laksa, mee rebus, Lei Cha, kuihs, etc.
Free Chinese tea and drinking water. Self-service. Fresh fruits, biscuits and snacks are also available to purchase here.
The restaurant is just opposite the Rasa Sayang Food Paradise food court.


Ban Hong Xiang Tea House
Ban Hong Xiang Tea House is popular with dim sum Melaka that is always crowded especially during weekend.
It serves wide array of piping hot dim sum such as siew mai, char siew pao, chicken feet, fried carrot cake and more. Many customers come here for the juicy big pau that comes with flavourful fillings. Sometimes, they even buy the unstemed pau back home to steam and enjoy it at home. You can do that too.
However, Ban Hong Xiang has one limitation. It has less parking space and the parking space is quite small too. Best if you can go earlier to grab the parking space.
Be there as early as you can as some dim sum might run out of stock in the blink of an eye.
Baba Charlie Nyonya Cafe
Baba Charlie Nyonya Cafe is very famous for authentic Traditional Nyonya kuehs in Malacca, they also serve Nyonya Cuisines and sell Local Melaka Products.
The kuih with pictures are displayed on the wall. This is very helpful for those new to the cuisine. You will find onde-onde, love letters, dodol, kuih koci, kuih talam, pineapple tarts, kuih koo, and more. These kuih can be either savoury or sweet. They are normally made from natural ingredients such as fragrant coconut, gula melaka, fresh pandan leaves and dried butterfly pea flowers.
However, since they are freshly made without preservatives, it's best to consume within 1 day.
Conveniently packaged, the kuihs are perfect for yourself to take home for snack or as gifts to family and friends.
Besides selling their kuihs, they also cater food or offer premium kuid gifts for all events. As well as peddling the goods at various night markets throughout the week.
